The inspiration for the Frank Lloyd Wright Dana-Thomas Butterfly Earrings design comes from an art glass entry window in the Susan Lawrence Dana House in Springfield, Illinois (1902). Wright used geometric abstractions of flowers, plants, and insects of the prairie in the more than two hundred windows, doors, panels, and skylights in the house. The glass butterflies that inspired this earring welcome visitors in the transom window above the entrance door of the house. Solid brass, electro-plated with non-tarnishing silver finish, giclee print, ear wires are hypo-allergenic. Made in the USA. Gift boxed with descriptive insert. Length: 1.47”.
